Part of its one year program for continued lodge consolidation and fellowship-bonding activities, Jacques DeMolay Memorial Lodge No. 305 held its second Paintball Wargame adventure at Alpadi Compound in Antipolo yesterday, March 30, 2008.   Led by its Worshipful Master Jonathan Cuezon and his Wardens, the Brethren of JDML 305 together with family and friends, trooped to Antipolo to shoot paintballs and have fun. The group was divided into two teams (the Black and Green Teams), which were composed of seven players each team. Three wargame sets were played, and after the preparations and rests in between games;   "Paintball to right of them, Paintball to left of them, Paintball behind them, Volley'd and thunder'd; Storm'd at with shot and shell, While horse and hero fell, they that had fought so well..."After the fog of war settled...the Green Team lost three times in a row to the victorious Black team. But all's well that ends well. After the wargames, the battle score was finally settled in the bottle of fellowship at Bahay-bahayan, a watering hole in Marikina. It was one fun-filled weekend for the Brethren, another day spent for camaraderie and fellowship. Although an event like this one is mainly a lodge activity, but the Brethren of JDML 305 extend its invitation to all Brethren and friends to join and partake with the fun and fellowship of JDML 305.
