As a form of homage to these immortal words of our Illustrious Brother Emilio Aguinaldo, on June 12 each year, following a long established tradition, members of the Grand Lodge of Free and Accepted Masons of the Philippines, gather at the Rizal Park to commemorate Philippine Indepence Day.
This year's celebration was led by the Grand Master of Masons of the Philippines, MW Pacifico B. Aniag and the Grand Line Officers, followed by various Masonic appendant bodies and Blue Lodges.
Since its inception, Jacques DeMolay Memorial Lodge No. 305, follows this Grand tradition. This year's JDML 305 contingent was composed of WM Jonathan D.C.Cuezon, SW Francis E.Blanco, VW Jojo Javier, Bro.Cris M. Gaerlan, VW Gigi Ancajas, VW Albert Tan, VW Joby Magbanua, MD NCR-A DGLs, VW Wilson Lee and VW Paul Ibasco and MD NCR-A DDGM, VW Joji Bulawin. JDML 305's Entered Apprentice Masons, Bro. Ramon Bernal and Bro. Ferdie Gaerlan were also in attendance.  The Brethren who made themselves available to this event can say that at least once in a year, together with the Brethren of our Grand Jurisdiction, we have given a portion of our time even for a few hours, to the duty we owe our country. A simple token of appreciation to the fact that the Freedom we enjoy today, we owe a lot to our Brother Masons of the past.

ANCOM 2009 Countdown Begins |
It's still ten months to go before the next ANCOM, but the Brethren of the Host District MD RX-A and B, are eager to give us an early taste of what they hope to achieve; "TO HOST THE BEST EVER ANCOM HELD IN CAGAYAN DE ORO CITY WHICH WILL RESULT TO THE TOTAL SATISFACTION OF ALL PARTICIPATING DELEGATES."

New MD-NCR-A District Officer's First Official Visitation to JDML305 |
Among other agenda items discussed, there were two major functions that took place during our Lodge's stated meeting on May 23, 2008. It was the First and Official visitation of the newly installed District Grand Officers for Masonic District NCR-A to Jacques DeMolay Memorial Lodge No. 305. Masonic District NCR-A's District Deputy Grand Master, VW Joselito Bulawin, and District Grand Lecturers, VW Wilson Lee and VW Raymond Padua were received with Grand Honors by the Lodge.
Also, the re-appointed Grand Lodge Inspector for Jacques DeMOlay Memorial Lodge No.305, WI Reynaldo M.Tomampo, Jr, Past Master of Macario R. Ramos Mem.Lodge No.355, was installed. DDGM VW Joji Bulawin served as the Installing Officer and VW Wilson Lee as the Master of Ceremonies. VW Raymond Padua read the Worshipful Inspector's Charge and duties of office.

 The Brethren of JDML 305 and their families, officially bade goodbye to summer by having one last dip in the pool before the rainy season starts.
The Lodge's Annual Family Outing nearly missed its date with summer, when its schedule was moved from one date to another. But through the brethren's unity, support and cooperation, the outing was finally held succesfully last Saturday, May 24, 2008, at the Club Manila East.
